Fine four storey terraced townhouse expressed in a crisp rectilinear geometry. Cross wall construction. Flat facades faced in alternate bands of glazing and white weatherboard. Brick party walls. Flush front door with transom window. Slender aluminium window frames contributes a further lightness of touch to the composition.

Mid-Century Modern House in Bayswater

Elegant four storey townhouse. Modernist interpretation of the Georgian terraced house, expressed in a restrained Mid-Century vocabulary. Raised base plane (car park underneath) adds further vertical scale to the terrace. Simply expressed facades that lack pretence. Focus on linear and planar elements. Terrace on third floor is reminiscent of Le Corbusier (Citrohan house etc). Brick elevations, with white painted concrete bands. Simple recessed entrance. Large panels of glazing on upper storeys. First storey windows set in projecting concrete frame, adding rhythm to the terrace composition.

Exceptional bungalow completed in 1974. Irregular, semi-enclosed plan. Shallow pitched roof with clerestory. Approached from the drive, the house presents a closed form which opens up internally to reveal volumes of indoor-outdoor space wrapped in full height glazing. Faced in white render.
